This circuit starts in the village (this is the point where all the routes start and where it is situated the informative panel, in front of the headquarters of the "Guardia Civil" (Spanish police who patrol rural areas, highways and borders).

    The route leaves in front of the panel, through a street/lane of land towards Cortijo de la Fuente del abad.  This part is only ascension as far as a crossroad where the way is more sinuous with descents and hills.

    When we arrive to the crossroad, an arrow will indicate us that we must coninue on the left, leaving La Joya in our right.  We will continue the road in the direction of Coronada, in this stretch we must be very attentive, since at 1 Km. 500 metres on the left, there are an arrow indicating us we must take a way of royal patrimony soil of Málaga, we follow it as far as a crossroad we will take on the right that will conduct us to the road, which we will follow at 3 km.  

TECHNICAL INFORMATION:

Climb: 517  metres of unevenness accumulated.

Difficulty: Mean difficulty.

Observations:

• Some stretch with road..
• Pay attention, there are strong descents and hills.
• There are important crossroads, please maintain precaution.

 We will continue as far us a crossroad on the left, towards Valle de Abdalajís.  This crossroad, with flats and strong descents, will conduct us to the regional road that we wil take on the left and in 2 Km. to Valle de Abdalajís.
